Dr. Jack Zenger, CEO of Zenger Folkman, is a world-wide expert in leadership development.
In his recent study of 51,000 business leaders, this is what he found out about feedback. The more willing one is to seek out and act on feedback, the more effective they are as a leader.
And more importantly…perceived by others to be a leader.
The study showed that those who did not listen to or respond to feedback were rated by their colleagues as being in the bottom 12% in leadership effectiveness.
And those who regularly act on it are seen as being in the top 10%.
It doesn’t matter how effective you are, if your prospects don’t perceive you as a leader, you will fail in real estate sales.
Dr. Zenger concluded that those who resist feedback make decisions based on their own assumptions (which may be wrong) or don’t make any improvements at all.
Neither is good in the long run.
I share this with you because not enough members took advantage of the “Extras” in last month’s Insiders.
Where I offered to review and provide feedback on any marketing piece that you created. It could be a letter, email, blog post, video or advertisement.
Anything you’ve created.
There is nothing to fear from my feedback.
First, I’m going to share with you all of the good things about your work. And why, I think it will be effective. Then I’ll share where you can make improvements and WHY I think the changes will give you better results.
I won’t sugar coat anything, or be a jackass.
Just practical, personal advise making you better, faster and stronger.
I’m not sure that I’ll ever offer this again for free. I’ve never charged less than $250 for a review in the past and my current rate is $400.
And, as more people join The Insiders, it makes it harder for me to find the time to give direct feedback to each one of you.
It’s part of the June edition of The Insiders that was just released today, and the FREE offer expires soon.
Here’s the only place you can get it…
See you on the Inside.
