Here’s how it usually works.
You are not feeling good about yourself because of the state of your business. You’ve tried to make it grow, but keep running into dead ends. You’ve seen other people succeed at it, but it is not happening for you.
Until you see the ad.
The ad promises that this is the latest and greatest thing for your business. They show how well it is working for others and promise that it will do the same for you. Everyone is buying it.
You pull the trigger and anticipate it’s arrival.
The day it arrives, you are on cloud nine. You set it up and BOOM.
Nothing big happens.
A few days go by and the same thing.
You just got bit by the bright, shiny object syndrome. It left you disappointed and further from your solution.
So what do you do?
It’s like building a house.
You can build the fanciest of mansions, adorned with the finest decor the world has to offer. And if it is not built on a solid foundation, it will all come crashing down on you.
If you are still reading this message, your marketing mansion is probably built on a sand foundation. And that’s why it keeps letting your down.
Bright, Shiny Objects are tactical. They are like the icing on the cake. 99% of the time they will fail if not build on a solid marketing foundation.
The book below is your foundation. This is your cake.
Build the best cake first and then decorate it with all of the bright, shiny objects you want.
Take your time getting the cake right, and then go test all of the bright, shiny objects that you desire.
Find the ones that work with your foundation and help you reach your goals. Then discard the rest.
This is how I succeeded in real estate and how you can do the same.
